Overview
This module will take approximately 30 minutes to complete is designed to help care home and domiciliary staff improve their understanding of the concept of duty of care, as well as how they can apply this in their work.

Users will learn how a duty of care contributes to overall safe practice, how to deal with comments and complaints, and how to deal with confrontational situations. Furthermore, it will also cover the support that is available for addressing dilemmas which may arise in relation to duty of care.

The course also contains a case study and an assessment to test learners' understanding, with a requirement of 80% to pass.
