Overview
This module will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and provides details surrounding COSHH regulations and guidelines and helps to guide employees to a better understanding of what they are, why they are important, and how to adhere to them within the working environment. It will highlight the importance of doing so to ensure the health and safety of the individual's as well as everybody else's health and safety.

The course will explore the meaning of hazard, risk, and risk assessment, as well as provide examples of these within the workplace. It will also guide staff on how to manage any identified risks or hazards by utilising both preventative and protective measures. It will also guide employees on how to effectively apply and promote safe working practices within the role of the individual as well as within the wider organisation. The responsibilities of yourself as an individual as well as those of your organisation will also be examined so that there is a full understanding of how they apply within the workplace.

The course also contains a case study and an assessment to test learners' understanding, with a requirement of 80% to pass.
