Medicines Management and Administration

Overview

This module will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. It consists of the following elements. 

• It is designed for care home staff involved in the administration of medicines to give them an understanding of how to administer specific dosage formats, the possible causes of administration errors and ways to avoid them, how to manage medicines in care homes, as well as an awareness of legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines relating to medicines.
• The course contains a case study and multiple-choice questions.
