Overview

This course gives the learner an in-depth insight into oral health care provided within care homes, and covers how this may be improved. The course is delivered with a short presentation followed by an assessment, on which you must achieve at least 80% to pass.

Users will learn about how poor oral health effects the elderly in care homes, the signs of dental ill health, how to clean teeth and dentures, and much more. Additionally, the course covers CQC policy, how to prevent ill dental health, and info about oral health assessments.
