This module will take approximately 60 minutes to complete and is designed for care workers to assist with their understanding of safeguarding adults. This includes the definitions of relevant terms such as 'safeguarding', 'abuse', 'harm', and 'neglect', as well as recognising signs of these occurrences during a care worker's day-to-day working activities. The course also outlines the responsibilities of both the individual care worker and their employer relating to safeguarding and describes the appropriate recording procedures to undertake.
