Overview
This module will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. It is designed to give care home staff involved in medicine administration a good understanding of how to administer specific dosage formats, how to manage medicines in care homes, and the potential causes of administration errors/how to avoid them.

Furthermore, this course will also cover how to order, receive, store, and dispose of medicines, info about common medications, and about the rules relating to self-medicating residents, as well as the relevant legislation, policies, guidelines, and procedures relating to medicines in care homes. The course also contains a case study and an assessment to test learners' understanding, with a requirement of 80% to pass.
