Course Details

This module will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and aims to assist employers and employees in their understanding of absence management, and how this information should be applied in their daily working lives.

To help you achieve this understanding, this course will provide insights into what the term 'absence management' means, why it is important for your business, and the issues surrounding absence management. It also explores your individual responsibilities for absence management, and the responsibilities of your organisation as a whole. The module refers to a wide array of important legal documentation, such as the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, the Equality Act 2010, and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This ensures that you understand the importance of properly understanding absence management and its impact on the workplace.

The course also contains a case study and an assessment to test learners' understanding, with a requirement of 80% to pass.
